  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Having been an Infiniti owner for the last 6 years, I've been used to being able to get a loaner anytime I brought my car in for service. I was told by 2 different Hyundai sales people that I will be provided with a loaner if my Genesis needs to be left overnight. Can anyone else confirm this? I'd like to hear it from a reliable source (other than Hyundai Sales staff). Thanks all.

When I brought in my Genesis for a light scratch removal(found during the delivery inspection and dealer promised to buff it out), the Sales manager gave me a loaner, but a Sonata.
Car was there for about 4 hours.

My situation could a little different, since it was during the initial delivery.
Not sure if my dealer would offer me a loaner if I bring it in for other warranty items.

Hey, Boca.. Royal Palm here.. Some Hyundai dealerships are giving loaners and some aren't. I THINK most are... You may just want to get it in writing to be safe.. I don't think you HAVE to do this but being that Hyundai is new to the luxury game, it's probably not a terrible idea either...

At the time of the sale, the dealer told me I'd get a loaner when I received regularly scheduled service. This was the case for the one time I brought it in, no questions asked. (Sonata)

Good suggestion. For me, a loaner is an important part of car ownership, and getting it in writing couldn't hurt. Thanks.:):)

Encouraging! Especially after 7500 miles.

When I owned my Elantra and I would take it for service, the dealership always gave me a loaner which happend to be a fully loaded Sonata:)

My current dealer that I bought my Genesis at, states that they are willing to give me the current car that I drive, so a V8 w/tech..The sales manager was very serious when he said this too.

It's primarily up to the dealership to provide the loaner at their discretion - they charge Hyundai for it if it's warranty work.

My dealership, has two V6 P+'s available for Genesis owners when they bring their vehicles in for service or warranty work.
