I have about 2000 miles on my 4.6 Premium/Tech and am now wondering if I have a problem. I have noticed, I think, a slight hesitation from when I slightly step on the gas and when the car actually moves. It usually happens at a stop light or turn and is very, very subtle. Almost so subtle that I think I might be imagining it.
At first I attributed it to getting used to a new car. I also thought that I might be just being shy on the pedal because any extra force really started the car off to0 quickly and jerky.
It's really hard to explain but it feels like there's a very small dead zone on the pedal just where I want to gently move forward. I don't think it's a safety issue as it's not as if I can't just push harder and quickly move it's more a problem with a gently controlled drive.
Anyone else see this or has it been reported?
Thanks in advance.
