  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

New Sonata ad. Shows how to park in a tight spot. Nice to get the car out, but damned if I'm putting my car into a tight spot. I take the far spots. If Genesis adapts it I'd rarely, if ever, use it.

I am with you there! I park as far away as possible!!!~

Clever and a great commercial but not so smaht if the guy parked next to you has to leave and does not have smaht pahk. I pahk far far away whenever possible.

Handicap spots work too, though if non available I’ll park as far from the madding crowd as humanly possible!!

In total agreement with all of the above posts...interestingly while I do the same..most times 15 to 20 yards from the nearest car...a lot of times I get back to the car and someone has parked right next to me either on the right or left side!! Luckily to date have not had any door "dings" as a result🤞

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
Living in a condo with underground parking, I prefer to park as close to the pillar and away from the neighboring car as possible. This will be brilliant!

I have read this story about more than one person, prominent potential hire. Comes for interview, committee sees him circling parking area. He spies the spot by the door but just wide enough for the car and not an open door. He aligns car to space, exits car and pushes car by hand into spot. Walks into interview and is hired. Apochryphal? Likely.

Yeah, in Pittsburgh or Boston it'll be great. In Texas with surface parking, eh.

Agreed on the parking garages in apartments.

I'd use it. Just not often.

Glad they were not watching me. Went to visit a supplier. Found that same spot near the door. Was proud of myself getting in there but could not get out of the car. Laugh about it today, probably did not that day.

I've been on interviews where they have signs for spots near the door that say "for customers only" and if an interviewee parks there they will not be hired, it's a test about your ability to follow directions and respect for others.

Being disabled I will park in a disabled spot, and I was not hired for a job for doing so because apparently that disabled spot was the "assigned parking" for the non-disabled CEO and he took offense to me parking there. I was specifically told that is why I wasn't hired, the CEO "needed" that spot because it was at the front door and extra-wide so no one would damage his MBZ, Based on that I wouldn't want to work for them anyway..
