Advice for all 2g shoppers: IMO, if you haven't seen the color you think you like in real life and in the sunshine, you haven't really seen that color. You may get a real surprise when you really do see it.![]()
Red, as in candy-apple red or ferrari red is definitely sporty - but Pamplona Red is more of a burgundy red - not the type of red you normally associate with a sports car. I like it too (almost bought it) - was just conveying what my early 20's/late teen daughters and their friends all said. But after seeing them side-by-side, I would say that the Empire State Gray does make the car look more agressive (at least to me).

Here's to all those gray sports cars out there!
Do you think there's any chance they were just trying to make you feel good about your color choice?
Personally, I don't care. My wife makes all our color choices. If it were up to me I'd pick plaid!
Not putting down gray but its the first time I've ever heard it said gray was sportier than red. Lol.
Where did I say sports cars are gray? I said that, to me, that gray made the car look more aggresive / "sporty" than Pamplona Red - not that it's a sports car or that sports cars are gray! And, if you don't care, why keep chiming back in with your sarcasm?
BTW - no chance that my girls were just trying to make me feel good - they had told my wife before I decided, but she didn't tell me as she wanted me to pick what I wanted, without influence!
Sorry, its a discussion forum. Chiming in and back is what happens here.
As long as you think gray is sporty, that's all that matters.

I will say that I am not a fan of Hyundai's Marrakesh beige. If you have one, I'm sorry, but for me you would have to give a very big discount to get me into a car with that color.
Now having seen this in person, I have to say I completely agree with you.
None of the 2015 colors excited me until I saw Manhattan Brown in the sunlight. I went out of state to get the only one I could find. They should rename it "Rootbeer", in the sun the metallic looks like the bubbles in a mug of A&W!
I was really smitten with the Manhattan brown. When it is clean, the mica in it really pops. I don't know how it would look with a film a dirt and grime to kill the sparkle...
