They are not directional as far as I know so they can be rotated side to side. Whether or not that will be very beneficial I don't know, can't hurt though.
This is exactly what I was thinking as the inside of the tire now becomes outside which I would think greatly increases tire longevitythe G80 sport is staggered and not directional.
Since rotation is part of the included maintenance I have requested on every other rotation that the tires be dismounted from the wheel and remounted on the opposite side so that the inner side wall becomes the outer side wall, for more even wear.
The dealer had no issue doing this, but did charge me for the rebalance @ $12 per tire.. Which was acceptable to me as it was a custom request outside the covered service.
Yes you can...and you should do it.Since the sport model comes with staggered tire sizes, can the tires be rotated side to side to help them wear evenly?

If you swap left/right...the configuration remains the same. While the G70 tires are not directional they are asymmetrical - there is a distinct inner and outer tread pattern as shown in the attached picture - narrower grooves toward the outer section of the tire which is subjected to higher loads when cornering. I suspect if you look at the sidewall they will be labeled inner and outer.

^ gotcha. And...that’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard...LOL
I have staggered, directional tires on my S2000 that I never rotate/switch sides. It does fine. I just have to replace the rears twice as often as the fronts.![]()
