  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Spy shots of the long-awaited GV80.

There are options of adaptive suspension that currently is on the X5 so that’s probably why it feels very nice.

Adaptive is a little bit different and doesn't depend on air suspension. When you are in that mode it is a combination of Eco, Sport and Comfort and the suspension adapts to your driving style as well as using data from the navigation system to make adjustments to the suspension depending on the road. I have used Adaptive a few times but mainly keep it in comfort when not on a highway which is then in Eco.

Genesis started their GV80 teaser campaign with some videos. Basically it’s just short but at the end it shows the model in the sand with dirt kicking up to cover it.

also does anyone else notice nip and tuck of the Genesis Logo?

^ nip and tuck? Is that like a tug n rub?

Noticed they moved the date up by a day.

I dont understand the point of this. They should stop teasing us with this nonsense video. In reality, most people dont even know they exist. I just hope the final product is not going to be a disappointment, especially when compared to the Palisade and Telluride. We will see in a few days

They are copying BMW. They've had frameless rear view mirrors for over the decade.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!

Actually wrong. Frameless has been around for a long time. First models to get it is the Camero and the Corvette. Also not all BMW’s have frameless mirrors.

Lexus has frameless mirrors too. But good on Genesis for moving over to that, since the current G70 ones are freaking massive.

The UI on the infotainment looks really nice. Definitely has luxury touches vs. the new Hyundai infotainment on the Palisade, which was nice already.

This is actually the G80!! You can tell because of the missing rotary knob for mode selection. And the way the arm rest looks. Now as far as the Key fob goes, I'm sure it'll be the same for both cars!

^ the picture simply isn’t big enough to show it.

It’s the arm rest that gives it away...like you said.

I have scanned a bunch of the more recent pages but can’t seem to find anything definitive on the subject of engine choices. Any summary would be much appreciated.

Well look at the bright side. At least Genesis is getting remote start and the parking in and out of spaces.

Good eye Supermido!

Thanks Beefer, I hadn’t noticed some of that graphic was decipherable. Will be curious to learn if that 2.5t is a solid option in a vehicle this size. Anybody else thinking about holding off on a G80 purchase to see exactly what we have here?

Nah, I'm a sedan guy thru and thru. Fully committed to G80. Tho, the GV80 probably hits the nail on the head for a lot of people.
