IMHO it’s better than the cookie cutter designs from the Germans (aside from Audi). I honestly have a hard time visually differentiating an X5 from 2015 and the new one, and I’m pretty good at that kind of thing.

It’s not that hard to differentiate the two there a lot of differences between the two generations.

audis and bmw all look the same from the front and rear , the sedans all look the same from the side , interiors are almost identical just more spread out in bigger models.

not really you can point out a g70 from a g80 and same with a g90 you cant look at a g80 and say its a g70 because they dont look alike you cant sit in a g70 and say this looks like a g80 inside.

I think he is referring to the new designs and not the mixture of the old and new. Like most brands seem to do, the new designs from Genesis will have a lot of similarities (interior and exterior) across the product line.

An interior doesn't have to have a million shitty buttons everywhere to look good. If the interior is minimal...and has enough hardware to achieve everything needed...what is the issue ? I would rather look at gorgeous wood (or steel or CF) than a million f'ing knobs !!!

I think that wood looks fabulous...and I bet that hardware around it gets the job done in a minimal fashion.

The wood does look nice but I actually want to see if the HVAC system has a delay.

Totally agree with you, I’m just wondering will it have ambiant lighting? The black rotary shift knob doesn’t look good, not a big fan of the way the central control looks, but can live with this, my biggest grip is the steering wheel, Genesis should offer a second option
