  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

In matte gray. No way in hell is this coming overseas though.

Interesting, I saw a matte black GV80 on the street today here in Socal. Guessing since the corporate office is only a few miles away it had to be someone from there. So who knows maybe there is a chance at a matte special edition?

Matte black? Even in Korea, you can't get the GV80 in matte black. Only matte green, gray, and white.

Usually the reveal happens 8pm EST after the large pic and video sets are released. Let's see!

^^ while i love that blue colour (obviously), i'm still not feeling those lights or grille/front end treatment. also, not sure about those Sport rims. the current 5 spoke rims are a great fit for the Sport package...and are super easy to maintain and keep the calipers clean. those new rims are much busier.

Have they given a release date?

I'm interested to see how the Sport trim looks. From the pics I've seen online, the signature copper light elements are now gone. Also, I don't think the new G70 will have the Remote Smart Parking Assist like the other Genesis' and the new Sonata. (No additional sensors seen in front of the front wheels and behind the rear wheels.

I like the the looks as the grill looks a bit bigger but still has the design that identifies the car as a Genesis. Too bad my 2020 doesn't have the 3.8 ltr engine :(. I wish the back had the winged emblem instead of G E N E S I S but I get it as a marketing issue. These cars currently now are more of cult owners group and the marketing group wants to expand in to the auto market. Hope the quality keeps up with the demand.....

It is on now. I was off by 4 days and 30 minutes 😄

I really like it. Such a Gorgeous update in my opinion... and for the first time in history, the slogan actually fits the design. Athletic elegance.

Official site's been updated, including a new configurator:

Biggest performance update is that the AWD 3.3T with the Sport Package gets the mechanical LSD from the Stinger GT-S, which can send 100% of the torque to the rear wheels for drifting, and a new "Sport+" mode.

The front headlight area is too round...bug-like. The rear lights have grown on me...the merging lines still bother me a bit.

No mention of increased rear legroom...not surprising.

So glad the digital tach is clockwise...not opposite like we’ve seen elsewhere.

Variable exhaust is cool. Wonder if Sport+ increases hp/tq.

Not a fan of the way they rearranged the Qi charging space. Although the area can now fit a bigger phablet...you lose space for other trinkets. They could have left it the same as now and just made it a touch deeper and wider. Now...your phone takes up all the space in that area...no where to put your wallet...key fob...anything else small. Hope the wireless key and remote cam make it to NA.

Also...the 3.3T already has LSD and drift mode...so nothing new there.

All said...they f’d up with the engines...big time. I’ll wait for the full refresh. Just need to figure out a car in 1 year. Some beater for a while.

I agree with you. If there was one that would of sold me was the newer engines but that didn’t happen. Also why tf does the Stinger get the new 2.5t and not the G70. I guess G70’s were selling better then Stingers.

The G70 had the LSD before the Stinger. The torque split isn't related to the LSD.

I like that fact there’s now a Dynamic I package where you can get a Sport 3.3T AWD with the PS4s Summer tires and “Euro” high performance brake pads.

I’m bummed there’s STILL NO AMBIENT LIGHTING!!

Probably matte PPF.

Sorry for the dumb post, but does the refreshed model (USA) have the LCD gauges (dynamic cockpit whatever)?
In the press pickup this morning, I noticed "larger gauge cluster... easier to read" but does that mean bigger physical DIALS, or the new LCD unit?

Idk, it's starting to grow on me in certain colors. I like the sport in white and that blue. Sad that Siberian Ice is gone. I like it but not enough for me to want to give up my 2019.

I like the blacked out chrome and the new wheels. Looks more elegant yet sporty. Cant really mistake it for anything else unlike the current model which kinda looks like a Giulia mixed with a C Class.

Still no idea why the premium brand G70 doesnt get Smart Park yet everyday Sonatas get it. Makes no sense.
