Just got back from having my annual inspection performed on my 2015 Genesis V8. While there, I informed my Service Advisor of several very loud squeaks/rattles in the car. He informed me (rather quickly) that the dealer charges $69 for a "preliminary investigation". If the rattles are related to body issues, Hyundai would cover the cost. If it is caused by two surfaces rubbing that could be resolved with a grease or felt tape, I would have to pay for the repairs.
Does this sound suspect to anyone else? When I owned my Acura RL (and other luxury marks), these were fully covered under the warranty. Thoughts??
