  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hello,

In the past few months I've been experiencing static noises when listening to my iPod but it can only be heard if the song has low tones such as the beginning of the song and such. Once I turn it up a little higher you can't hear it much. Weird thing is that sometimes it doesn't do it.

Would it be my cable as when I switch to Bluetooth I don't hear it?
If I bring it to the dealer what should I approach them with?

Also I don't have my volume on my phone turned up all the way.

Thanks a bunch,
Dominic

It sounds like the cable may be bad or you are getting interference from a loose connection.
I am not sure, but I do not think the cable is covered by the car warranty.

As far as bluetooth volume. I believe it can be adjusted via the radio volume control while you are on a call.

You're likely right about the cable not being covered, but any service manager worth his salt will replace it for free. If not, the sales manager should step in.
When mine failed, I went to the dealer to see if that was the problem. To test another cable. The other cable worked, but they were back ordered and the GM said just to take his. No charge.
