  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

One of my favorite stations (classical music) fades in an out. It seems to be a problem only on this station. Perhaps my Genesis is opposed to "high brow" music. By the way, this station has a very strong signal in the L.A. area. I tried surround sound on and off to no avail. Any thoughts? I'll try the dealer if this problem continues.

I have experienced what you describe with other vehicles. If it is station specific, then it is unlikely that anything is wrong. I would suggest going to Hyundai and testing other vehicles to see if they have the same issue with this particular station. If so, then that i just how it is. If not, it could be a loose antenna connection. A simple thing to fix. Enjoy your car.

I have noticed a station in my area fading in and out also and it only started in the last month or two. It does it in all of our cars. It may be solar activity or new Fed rules or new stations that are taking up more band width.

Do you have the Tech package? Is that station HD radio? Is it fading when it switches from analog mode to HD mode?

I have both premium and tech package. The station is HD. Perhaps that's the problem. I'll check it out and report back.

Thanks for the suggestion.
