  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

any one using a sun visor for the front windshield? I picked up another job during the day and the car sits in the sun .. Anyone order from a specific place or get one custom fit? thanks

thanks guys for the recommendations..

How can you use this crap!!??? I just returned that shit! ~1.5 inch gaps on both sides and ~3 inches gap around the sensor. Custom made my a$$!

Believe it or not.... I bought one for my G1 and it fits very well on G2 but this one was made by Intro-Tech http://www.autoanything.com/driving-accessories/60A5833A0A0.aspx

The one made by Covercraft is garbage.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
It does for me. Put your cursor over the link, and look at bottom of the browser for the actual HTML address.

OK - takes me there on my laptop - but not on my tablet - weird?

In any event, I just wax my headlights - the wax has UV protectant in it too - so likely no need to buy yet another detailing product (I have too many already) unless this is adding some significant benefit versus wax w/ UV?

I sense some anger issues??

Yes - it does not fit perfectly flush around the mirror assembly because it has to get past the mirror itself and the sun-visors also don't push it flat against the windshield (if you do it fits pretty flush to the mirror housing - could add 2 velcro buttons to do this if it bothers you). It's also a little short on both sides, width wise. However, it is very well made and works well - so the garbage comment is WAY off base.

Also, as it is a rigid cover, it would be harder into install if they make it too tight. Could it fit a little tighter? sure- but it is really not a big deal like you are making it out to be...

...I don't thinks so.

Paying ~$60 for "Custom Patterned for a Perfect Fit" - which does not fit very well, it's a joke for me.

If I didn't care, I would get one for $7 from walmart or whatever, but since I'm paying that much, I would expect much better quality.

This one is made by Intro-tech and it was a custom made for G1 and it works on G2, better than Covercrafts, which suppose to be Custom patterned for a perfect fit for G2! lol

Just my .02 cents ;)

Looks to have a little better coverage around the mirror - but still not perfect if you are going for perfection - also pretty nasty bubbling on it (due to age?). I've been happy with mine - easy to install and keeps the car cooler. I'm not so picky of it being perfect...

Yes, it is almost 2 years old, hence the bubbling - nothing to worry about, it doesn't affect it's purpose.

I know, it's not perfect, but the fitment is much better than the other one. Just sayin' (not yelling) :D

^ Gonna have to agree with you. For $60 I expect something that is accurate to the description. It's not a lot of money in the grand scheme of things; but it is a lot to pay for cardboard with foil on one side and cloth on the other, especially if it isn't cut correctly.

the one from Intra fits pretty well... Definitely will be ordering this soon.. Car was 98 degrees today at 5pm ...
