  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Switching out the trunk H for the wings

I placed the wing on the top of the H when it was removed, centered and taped it . I then put the H back together with the wing, from there, I taped the two ends of the wing. Marked its location and the rest was a perfect de-badging.

That's the best, easiest method I've heard yet. :)

And make sure you get the one that matches the color of your front emblem. My car is black and has black emblem. I got a deep blue emblem, didn't know it had different colors then, so I put it on. Now a black one is on order.

So, I have a question on how the wing should look on the rear. The dealer installed the wing on my 2015, but as I looked at the finish job, the wing is not flushed on the car. It looks as if there some sort of double sided tape centered on the wing, therefore the wing protrudes from the car Is this how it should be?

That's how mine looks - it looks like they use a thicker tape than necessary.

Could you guys post a pic of your setup so I know what to avoid.

I'm not sure what you would like to see. We're only saying that the rear wing emblems seem to use a slightly thicker than necessary mounting tape. There are no options and nothing to avoid. It's just the nature of the beast. :)

Received My wings....

I was wondering now in the freezing midwest if there is any issue with the 3M adhesive that I would need to wait for a warmer temperature range to apply the wings?
