Texting possible in 2015 Genesis?

In most states, texting is illegal. I agree it is very distracting, and potentially dangerous.

That being said, is it possible to either read or compose text messages with bluetooth and my iPhone 6 plus in the 2015 Genesis (with ultimate package)?

I know that many iPhone 6 actions don't work when my iPhone is hooked up via bluetooth in the Genesis. For example, Siri doesn't seem to work for me. This is why I am asking whether or not texting will work in the Genesis.

Hold down the voice command button and siri eyesfree activates. She will read you emails or text messages, make calls. I never tried to text but suspect she'd fire one off for you.
