Sounds like ya’all need to come up north to get your G70s. I just checked the inventory of the York PA dealer. They seem to only stock AWD G70s with the exception of a few manual RWDs. Come on up and get a Philly cheesesteak and a AWD G70. Stop and get a Maryland crab cake on the way home.

Yeah, seems like the MD and PA dealerships only stock AWDs. Took me months to find a RWD 3.3T Sport and I had to drive two hours south to VA to get one. I dont like AWD cars. I like the lighter feel and handling of good ol' RWD. Personal preference. Of course, if it was my all weather DD, I'd think differently but as soon as salt hits the road, the car goes to sleep in the garage for a long winter nap.

Well...had some fun today. It has been months since somebody wanted to play

Today's victim...2018 CTS-V. It was modified...had an exhaust. Had some performance stickers on the rear window. Yellow Brembo's.

I am starting to question the speed of my car. I think it is faster than I thought.

We did about 5 runs...rolling starts...40 mph...60 mph...EVERY SINGLE time I slowly pulled away. I know that car is about 3.8 seconds...but he's got an exhaust. So what is going on here ?!?! I know I am at ~3.8 seconds...but with this cold weather...faster ?!?!?

I'm not gonna say my car is officially faster than 3.8 seconds...but I would have a hard time saying it's not !

Anyhoo...I will leave it at that. I honestly thought he was going to eat me alive. It is 42 F outside.

Very happy...cannot stop smiling.

JB4...on Map 3. But I am also running 99 octane (93 pump + BOOSTane Pro)...which makes a HUGE difference.

So...sometimes I post something that has absolutely nothing to do with the G70...or even cars for that matter.

Well...today is one of those days. My eyes are still watering from the laughter that I just endured.

Not sure if you folks have heard of the new KFC chicken donut sandwich. Yeah...if the coronavirus doesn't get you...this will.

Check out this guy's review. I know it is kinda long...but you have to watch the entire thing. Hang on...it's a doosey. Also...read the comments below it...absolutely priceless.

Hey folks...thought I would update my thread.

I have roughly 5 months left on my 3-year lease. Starting to think about options.

I know I am not getting the new GV70 as the Sport Prestige is out of my comfort zone...especially with the little miles I do.
The 2020 G70 Sport is also out as I do not want to get into a new car with the 3.3T...I want the 3.5T. Also...I cannot stand the fact that they force red on you with the black nappa interior.

So that leaves me with either buying my car out after the lease...or leaving Genesis (at least until the FULL refresh comes out).

I ran some numbers...and it is crazy.

The buyout/residual on my car is $28k...I would not pay any fees.
Since my car is mint with only 9,500 miles...trade-in is ~$40k and private sale is ~$44k. Not sure how these numbers will be in 5 months.

I could sell my car and make over $10k off of it !!! Wow.

Or...I could buy it out...and have another 2 years of bumper to bumper warranty on it. I would lose the 3-year Concierge on it...but Genesis is rolling out their official first packages later this month. They haven't had to yet as the very first official Genesis cars are just now starting to reach end of lease. The 2019 G70 was the very first.

So I have a lot of thinking to do. I love my car. Thinking that I can buy it for so low...keep it until the full refresh comes out...then trade it in.

Anyhoo...just thinking out loud.
