As some of you know, it was a long running (epic is more like it) struggle to find and get a copy of the 2013 DIS manual. This isn't available on line, and I battled Hyundai Customer Service fruitlessly for months before getting an electronic (PDF) copy of it from them on a USB drive. I received a nice pen, license plate frame, tote bag, and many Hyundai labeled flash drives before getting the DIS manual. :rolleyes:

Short story is:

I have several (3 actually) of these 2GB Hyundai flash drives in the original Chinese packaging ;), that I will give away to the first 3 forum members that ask.

Like my last give away, PM your complete shipping info and I'll mail you one of these exclusive, highly valuable, unused, not available in stores, blank flash drives at no cost to you. :)

I'll even include the 40MB 2013 DIS manual, owners manual, and/or Bluelink manuals on it if you missed my download link.

If you want, PM this as well with your shipping info.

The only catch is:

I realize these aren't worth more than the time it takes to mail them, so I'm not sending these to Australia, Canada, Russia, China, or anywhere else it'll cost me more than a couple stamps, so please don't ask.

I found the download link in the Audio, Bluetooth, Electronics forum. When I saw the post in this General Discussion forum, I searched here but not the other forums.

Anyway, I downloaded the PDF and I'm all set. Thanks for posting. That was the s l o w e s t download I've had since I used dial-up, but thanks!

Fast: you can host that in your dropbox (or other cloud service) and put the DL link in your sig like in mine. It would make it much more convenient :)

I thought of that, but the download will expire soon and I don't have a "permanent" account with any service from my home PC. For work, we use our own FTP site that I could give outsiders access to, but THEN,,,,,,,,,,,,, well, you know........


Anyway,,,,,,,,,,to those who were quick on the draw, my secretary was nice enough to package these and they should go in the next day or two since our postal service had the day off today.

All flash drives will ship with the 2013 owner's manual, quick start guide, Bluelink manual, and the DIS manual. I know the owner's manual and Bluelink manual are available on line, maybe the quick start guide (not sure on that), but the DIS manual is made of unobtainium. Delete what you don't want and enjoy.

You could set up a Dropbox account. I think you get 5 GB of storage for free.
 
OK guys, the drives are "in the mail". You should receive these by the end of next week at the latest.

Would one of you lucky flash drive owners please (please, please) go to https://www.dropbox.com , create (if not existing) a Free account there and copy the contents of your USB drive to a "shared folder" on Dropbox? Once copied to dropbox, just post notice here, and anyone who wants a copy will need send you an email address to access the shared link.

As WCHETTELL stated above, everyone gets 5GB free to start which should be more that enough to hold all the USB drive content.
Doing so will allow all of us -who would love to have digital versions of the 2013 manuals to have them. I for one would be very grateful and a pal for life.
 
Everything except the DIS manual is available from Hyundai. The DIS download link I posted in the audio and electronics forum is still active.
