  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

The problems I've encountered and fixed with less than 1 year ownership

Okay, the service manager contacted Fidelity Warranty and the adjuster looked at it today. I will be paying $50 (deductible) for a new (so they say) radio that he has to order. HA! Keep your fingers crossed for me.

Got Genny back and she is better than ever. The brakes are like AIR Brakes and the freakin NAV/RADIO is faster and works perfect. Looks like I have free-XM for awhile as i have already cancelled my free subscription which ended on 12/9 from old radio. I HOPE they are not going to try and start up a new contact without my consent.

Those of you having a lot of electrical issues, make sure that your ground strap is grounding well. Nothing screws up electrical like a bad or intermittent ground.

Where is this "ground strap"? I've had more electrical issues, mostly lights, than I care to count. They always claim they either "fixed" it or could not duplicate issue. I'm so ticked off with these people and this car till I could scream.

I've only got ~1,500 miles left on my warranty.... what do you guys suggest?

If the warranty runs out before they can "fix" the lights issue, would they still cover it since I've been having this issue since I bought it almost 2 yrs ago? (it's a used 2010) with no extended warranty and I declined the so called 150 point inspection/repair...... 'coz there were so many issues with this car when I bought it till it was in the shop the first six weeks longer than it was in my garage.

TIA
