  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hello everyone... I just ordered 921 5000k 8w LEDs from v-leds to put in as my reverse lights. I would like to change out the front and back blinkers to LEDs and was wondering if anyone you guys had problem with hyper flashing after LED conversion. Am I going to need resistors for them to work properly?

I think you will have to buy bulbs that have the resistor/chip built in the bulbs in order to avoid any problems with the turn signals. I have yet to actually order some. I have a dusty old thread on this....

Thank you for the link!

I somewhat read through the thread and looks like it's not really worth the trouble to go LED. I've never seen LED bulbs with built in resistors. I just received the 921 LED bulbs from v-leds and will install tomorrow. I'll upload some pictures of the result. I know these bulbs are great... I had them on my altima coupe 3.5 which I traded in. I'm kicking my self b/c I didnt take them out before trade in. These things costs $50!

Thanks again scottdk.
