  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have a 09 Genesis PP that I bought new, it has 47K miles on it, looks and runs great. I am thinking about possibly trading for an Equus, has anyone done that, what are your initial thoughts on the differences both good and bad.

thanks

Yes, several have done that. There are threads here that answer your questions.

Probably biggest difference is the ride with the adjustable air suspension. Obvioiusly the Equus has more luxury items, and better materials such as real wood trim instead of wood-grain plastic, supposedly a quieter interior, etc.

Now that there is a Genesis 5.0 in addition to R-Spec (although not sure if they are in stock yet at dealers), both the Equus and Genesis V8's have same drivetrain.

Probably a good idea to test drive both.

QUESTION: Does anyone know if Hyundai offers a remote starter for the Equus?
