  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I think I found 2 good options for a nice 2012 Genesis 3.8. One is black and one is white. I am looking at getting some custom 20" wheels, as well as doing the roof spoiler and the trunk spoiler.

I wanted to get some thoughts on some wheels to see what people thought.

Rohana-rc10: (granted this example is on an Audi S5, but it will give a decent idea)
Rohana RC10

Ace Alloy Mesh-7: (again on an audi)
Ace alloy Mesh-7

Lexani CVX44:
On a Lexus LS460: Lexani
Lexani's on a Genesis, but they are 22"

I think I have narrowed my picks down to those three. They are all within a few hundred bucks of each other with a staggered set up and tires. Any thoughts or insight would be great.

thanks!

I would say the Rohana-rc10, I'm a huge fan of the concave look.

I like the 19" r-spec wheels

I liked these in either the titanium powder or black, but at 1300 a wheel too steep of a price for my pockets. Would love a staggered set forgelines are known to be light and strong.

Yea what I am looking at is everything, including tires for the price of 2 of those wheels. If I had the budget I would go with Vossens or something, but other less expensive wheels are out there with very similar looks.

All three have a concave look, as I went to element wheels since they are local to me and looked at all three. The RC10's are a bit more extreme, but they all have it.

I figure any of these would look really good, but wanted to get some opinions.

Aren't after-market wheels supposed to be chick magnets? Maybe you are asking the wrong people?

That's not really what I am going for, I just think the rims make the car really pop, and take a great car like the Genesis to the next level.

OK, but one thing I can never understand is if people change their wheels for something they think looks better, why do they ask others which ones to get? It would seem to me that to ask others for their opinion means that they are trying to please someone else besides themselves (which is certainly OK if trying to get some chick magnets, etc).

I could certainly tell you what I like, but why would you try and please me?

I did not know that chick magnet thing. Maybe if I had after market wheels 37 years ago I would have married the captain of the cheerleaders, oh wait I did marry her.

But good point. Pick the wheel you like.

I like the Rohanna first...then the ace wheels.

Maybe  I'll be looking into trading the Genesis for an eighteen wheeler if this I the case, but then again as I'm approaching 70 :p, maybe be a motorcycle is more realistic.

The guy at Element Wheels asked me to pick my top three, as they might be able to get some in and others might take a couple of weeks. So those are the three I picked. I would be very happy with any of those, as I think they all will look equally good on the car.

If I were to put on a new set of wheels, it would be the Rohana RC-10's.
