^^^^^ Thanks so much. I'll try and figure out how to do that later in the day.
After reading my post I've decided that it's not fair for me to assess the ride as better or worse then the 2009-2011 models since the TL was one harsh ride and the 2009-2011would probably feel dramatically better too. I test drove the 2011's coming from a FWD TL so when put into context...it's really not my place to give an opinion.
Congratulations! You have every right to your opinion and have no need to feel other wise. Your approach was not one of everyone else needs to follow my lead.
I have a 2010 Genesis 4.6 with 8,300 miles and I am not one bit sorry that I purchased it. I have Michelins tires on my car and the ride on rough surfaces is better but I am thinking about getting a 2012 4.6 for the better ride and some additional features that I like.
I have own and driven some of the best and for the money and IMO you cannot own a better car than the Genesis. It is going to take you weeks and maybe months to find out how much car you have.
Let me share a few things with you:
1) Open the moon roof and look at the metal wind screen in the front and make sure the blue plastic film has been removed.
2) When you wash the car or clean the front glass and want to get the wipers out of the way, turn the ignition on and than off, lift the wiper stalk
up and pull it towards you, the wiper should now be in the 11:O clock position, now go outside and pull the wiper arms away from the glass.
You do not have to start the engine.
3) If you have to go into the spare tire well, there is a plastic hook on the back side of the trunk floor panel, opposite of the cloth tap. Hang that hook on the back lip of the trunk and it will hold the panel up.
4) If you notice two long streaks on both sides of the rear glass you do not have a water leak they are from the rear window shade, they will clean up with no problem.
5) If your tires sound a little noisy they will quiet down after several hundred miles.
Enjoy your ride...................
