  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Tint Recomendation for Sterling Blue Genesis

I recommend going with 40% tint, perfect balance. I think anything darker makes any car look very cheap. 40% in day time give you a nice tint with just enough privacy and just enough so cops dont bug you, and at night its still light enough to see thru from outside. Its perfect for blocking out the sun if you have kids.

My car is in the shop today getting the 40% put on, so i will post pics when i pick it up tonight. But heres some pics of my old cars with 40% to give you an idea. Depending on the outside light, sometime the tint looks very dark, and sometime lighter. Also if you look closely at the rear tailights on my old 545i, you'll see i put a very light 3m grey tinting on it. I also got that done on my genny, so i will post pics of it also.
