Tire life?

Almost 18k mls on the car now, the tires start humming when getting off the gas and also get a bit smeary (is that even a word?) when really hot.

How many miles has everyone gotten out of the stock 18" tires?

Which tires as replacement? As a 3 year lease I'd like to keep the tirecost to 1 replacement set for 45k mls... (plus snowtires most likely).

I have 16K on my Genesis and had to have two tires replaced due to cupping that was causing humming. It was out of alignment too. I complained to the dealer that this should not happen to a brand new car. They replaced two cupped tires and aligned the front end at no charge. I did have to open a case with Hyundaiusa to get this covered under warranty. Good luck
