  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I'm getting a low pressure warning but the tire pressure is ok when I checked with my guage. It started with the left back tire and now one front tire is showing low pressure also.
Any advice on how to fix this problem?

thanks, Tom

Is it just the TPMS light or is the dash actually telling you the tire is low? If dash is telling you it is low you must inflate the tires above a certain PSI to "reset" the sensor. Can't remember what this set point is off the top of my head. Happened to me when it was cold outside over the winter.

My TPM's will come on @ 28psi.
I used to have TPM alarms when ever there was big changes in ambient temp. Since I have filled the tires with N2 there have been no alarms n the pressures have remained constant for 2 yrs. now.
I run my tires @ 32psi.

I thought the N2 thing was a ruse. Then several years ago, when buying new tires for one of my cars, one of my daughters uses, they offered this for free. And it has been amazing. She has not has to adjust her tires for 3 years now. From the Dakotas very cold winters, to summer Midwest heat, they stay the same. and the cast rims were porous enough to let small amounts of air out over time. Not N2. I would not have believed it unless we experience it ourselves.

I appreciate hearing your experience with nitrogen filled tires.
