I'm completly debadged (OK, I still haven't removed the "H" on the wheels yet, but I'm working on it).
Personally, I hate automotive
badges. To me it's just free advertising for the car company that I get no benefit from. People who know their cars know what kind it is just by its appearance. The rest are more than welcome to ask...or to just gawk.
I've debadged since my first Saab 900, and the second one, and the Volvo S70 I owned before buying the Genny last year. I tell the dealer to not put a dealship logo or license plate frame on the car too, or to remove it if he's already put one on, unless he'd like to pay me an advertising fee for as long as I own my car, or knock several percent off the price of the car. So far no dealership has taken me up on the offer. They just take all their stuff off the car.
Without any badging its amazing the number of folks you get coming up and asking "What car is this?" instead of asking "Is this a Bentley?" which the Genesis wing
emblem obviously copies.
