stang - not to be contrary, but if this is the case, it seems to me that it's their problem. can't imagine not taking the time to at least put it on a rack and have a once-over.

Veed - I agree with you. Could have just been my dealer, certainly not a very large sample size. I didn't really care as I only had 11K miles on the one I bought. I just wanted the 100K powertrain to transfer over.

Based on a quite a few other posts on this forum concerning problems with CPO cars, it is apparently quite common for the "inspection" to not actually be done by Hyundai dealers, even though they will fix the problems when brought to their attention. Maybe that is the same as other brands, I don't really know and I hope I don't ever have to find out.
