  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hey all,

Yesterday I traded in the Genesis for a 2012 Infiniti M56S with 13,000 miles, in Harbour Blue.

I will have some accessories available from the Genesis: 18" winged center caps, front "Genesis" wing, WeatherTech DigitalFit floor mats (front & rear & cargo liner), ProClip vehicle specific cell mount, Factory sunroof visor and some other stuff. Just a feeler, if anyone is interested.....

Weather Tech liner color? I am interested. Also the cell phone antenna. Private email with pricing. Thanks!

Nice. The Infiniti M was the top contender when I bought my Genesis. They are very nice-- the interior is stunning.

I may be interested in the pro clip mount. Can you include a pic of it mounted?

I will be removing everything from the car tomorrow, and will post up part numbers and pics in the next day or two; time permitting.

I wanted to thank all members on here for some engaging conversation over the past 9 months; I have enjoyed it, and learned a lot about the Genesis. :)

Sorry to see you leave. Good contributions and some humor along the way. Peace, and enjoy the M.

The M is sweet. If it got the gas mileage, I would be all over it. Sorry to see you go!

Might be interested in the floor mats as well. If this is just a feeler, can you please post and official FS thread in the marketplace section?

Thanks.

I am interested in the wheel emblems and hood emblem. I have one mounted but have a coworker I'm trying to get interested in rebadging....lol

Sorry to see you go bro; it's been a pleasure having you on the site. Oh and if the wheels on your M56 are the same as these, I friggin' LOVE them!

(edit: Damn, these are tempting, with a nice Genesis center cap, they'd look gorgeous on my black Genesis)

I was searching your posts to see if you'd had any mechanical problems or what might have motivated you to trade, and I found my answer. This post proved to be prophetic :-). Anyway, enjoy your new ride

Yeah I hear you on MPG. Although in the limited miles I have accrued thus far, it seems on par with the Genesis 5.0.

Absolutely, as per post #5, I will be doing so in the next few days. :)

Thanks man; I always enjoyed reading your posts and like your style. :)

Sorry to see you go.

Oh I will probably be hanging around. ;) I will let you know privately where the car is, as I know you wanted to check it out.

Come back after a while and let us know what you think of your Infinity

Will do!

Yes, same style wheels; although not black chrome. They would look totally bad ass on a Genesis!

Yes, it is true.... have always been in love with the M56. Thanks for the good wishes!

Best wishes on your next car... traitor.
(just kidding!)

Seriously though, here's wishing for many happy, safe miles in whatever you drive.

I know it's difficult with all the horse trading that goes on, but about how much did they allow on the Genny?

LOL, that's what I got called on the Infiniti forum when I traded in my old M45 for a Genesis! :p

Thanks for the comment, appreciated very much! :)

The Dealer is a customer of ours, and I promised not to divulge any of that type of information, sorry.

Thank you and a BIG +1 on those gorgeous wheels!

Hmm...maybe I can stop by and see if they'll fit the Genny? Or maybe I'll just follow your lead and check out a 56S myself! :D

Make sure and pop your head in down the road as it will be nice to hear your comparisons between the Genesis and M.

Enjoy the ride

Best wishes, OP! Buying a car is more than using common sense. It also involves a lot of romantic, undefinable, emotions. I hope you have located your own personal dream wagon. So far, I have found mine, at least for the bang for the buck.

Hopefully, your trade-in topped the price that Carmax would have paid. That's how I worked my last deal and was not disappointed. If your dealer is a client of yours, hopefully you got a little barter going in the deal.
