  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Turbo or supercharger ideas?

I believe you let up on the trigger before letting off the full throttle. Advance systems adders have sensors to automatically take care of this. Look, I'm not saying do it, just those that want more power have very few ( none) options that really work so far. NOS allows you to run it as you always do with the added knowledge that if pressed, can unleash another 50-75rwhp immediately. Drives normal otherwise. There's another you tube that uses a stock high mileage late Crown Vic that they deliberately tried to destroy with boost. At an added NOS 200rwhp dyno run only cracked the plastic manifold.

Oh I get what your saying, I posted a link to the drive by wire NOS kit so it should be all good, didn't look at what they are using for the trigger. I thought about a 150 shot in the supra for turbo spool and added power but just never pulled the trigger on it.

Going to try and find this video. Sounds like something fun to watch

What Does it mean by drive by wire

What Does it mean by drive by wire

It means that instead of traditional throttle cable that have a mechanical link to the throttle body, it is now a stepper motor that senses the angle of the throttle pedal to determine how much it opens.
