  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Turning the daytime running lights on

The H7 70w? Any issues with heat, the harness, etc?

I'd recommend these: 65W Osram or Flösser Ultra High Output (2100 lumen, H9 burner on H7 base, race and special-purpose use): $24.76/ea Sale! $22.79/ea

The bulbs with blue glass steal light output and the bulb filaments are over driven, resulting in short bulb life. The bulbs above in the link I provided produce 2100 lumens each, which is outstanding considering a standard H7 bulb produces 1450 lumens. I've had these bulbs in my high beams for a couple of years.

Thanks, Scott. Are they "whiter" than the stock bulbs? I think that was the goal...

They are not whiter then the OEM bulbs since a whiter light output would reduce bulb life performance and light output, but I understand where the idea comes from to replace the high beam with the "whiter" bulb for the lower light output of the DRL's in attempt to better match HID low beam lighting.
