unlock, lock door handle

2010 genny 3.8 tech package !!!!!! Mine on the driver side doesn't work anymore. Passenger works fine. Anyone had this problem??

What exactly doesn't work? The black button to unlock when the key FOB is in your pocket? The door handles themselves are antennas to pick up the fob... so if only one door doesn't "see" the fob then that door/handle needs attention. It's possible just the wire to the door handle has fallen off (loose electrical connectors seem to be Hyundai's #1 assembly goof) inside the door.

Of course the button itself could be bad as well; I think one other person posted a similar problem long ago. Either way, it's warranty time.

I had a similar problem, but it was the drivers side back door. It sometimes would not unlock. It turned out to be a loose bezel around the inside door handle that was binding up the lock/unlock switch. It took the service department about 30 seconds to fix.

The black Button didn't work. I took it in the service guy said they would have to order a handle and bring it back in a week. I tried the button and it now works fine. tried it on several ocasions and it works just fine now. I guess I will have it changed out when the handle arrives.
