  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I almost posted this in the regular forum. I'm not selling anything. I just ran across this "unusual" Genesis on eBay. Since beauty is in the eye of the beholder I'll leave it at being "unusual" and just say I haven't seen a Genesis done up this way before.

While to each his own and all that, I'll go ahead and register my "wow, that's hideous" comment now.

You have never seen a pimpmobile before?

On the plus side, none of the seat bottoms look like a shar pei..... :p

Exactly. I've been thinking about doing black alcantara inserts to replace the center panels on the seat.

I remember that one getting posted here or on another forum back in summer when it was for sale as well. Poor car.

I remember back in the early 1980's Cadillac's were available with that same two-tone color schema. Either they came that way from the factory, or the dealer had them painted that way after getting them. My office overlooked a parking garage that rented excess space on the top floor (open-air) to a Cadillac dealer next door, and I frequently watched salespeople bringing customers to look at their inventory stored there.

talk about accelerating depreciation. I mean to each his own, and in some parts of town I guess that's a statement...but I'm almost embarrassed to be from the same state...
