US dealers who actually have the G70 available for sale.

True...but 2 rusty points <> mid-season points. They do accumulate...but more easily found in the beginning

Makes sense. Back to the G70.....

I will do another dealer check tomorrow and post if I find anymore. Springfield said it should be a day or so yet until their's show in inventory, they were being processed today. I'm not checking cars.com, CarGurus.com and autotrader.com to get the data on dealers. If anyone knows of any other similar sites to use let me know.

Something I learned today...

So...these dealers get cars. When they sell cars...they get “points”.

Unless a dealer gets a set amount of points...they will not get allocated more cars.

So if you contact a dealer for a request...even if you put $5k down...unless they sell...you will never get your car.

Until a dealer sells enough...they’ll get more allocation. So you could be on an indefinite wait list.

So if you really want a car...work with a dealer that churns sales.

Also...a dealer with no “points” cannot request an allocation from a port. Until they sell...custom orders are not allowed.

Hope that makes sense.

Btw...I know this from taking to exec’s. I’ve hounded them pretty good.

I’ll add onto my statement.

The Audi S4/S5 has a single turbo. The biturbo in the G70 is so different.

I think the G70 scrolls until the 2nd turbo kicks in.

The Audi has minimal lag...great mechanics. The G70 has none. Single off the start allowing the 2nd to spool in. Strong as f$%k.

As a result...the G70 is more tunable than the Audi.

Oh man. That's literally my only complaint about the B9 S5. Great to hear the G70 doesn't suffer from this.

I can second the feel of no lag during my test drive. It also has a way better throttle response than my 15 genesis which takes forever to respond to throttle input

Heading to Herb Connolly Genesis tomorrow to finally see it in person and test drive it. Looking at their inventory right now, not sure if I want what they have on their lot but i cant wait anymore to see it in person and drive it. be ready for my storm of pics and review of it when im done haha

You'll love it. If you go with the 3.3T...you'll be in shock on how fast it is.

'm for sure looking at the 3.3T , i test drove the stinger and it was impressive for how it performed. if the G70 is faster (even by a smudge) im sure i will be pleased. i see your name alot around here @Beefer, you provide alot of good info, from what iv read i assume you've driven one already?

My local dealer has no G70 inventory and oddly only four other Genesis cars in stock. I recall not that long ago seeing pages of listings they had for the G80.

When I first saw the name Herb Connolly I thought it was a typo for Herb Chambers. I bought three Hyundai and a Genesis from Chambers. I checked his web page and they only have 2 Genesis in inventory. I thought for sure he would continue with Genesis as he made changes in the past to sell Equus. Chambers sells every brand but Subaru in his 45+ dealerships. There is a story behind the Subaru thing and he still has his A-COPY license plate.

Yeah iv read the color combo you want and i have one question, would you say the SI color is comparable to nardo gray ? and what did you feel performance wise? did it give you the tickle? lmao
