  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I am trying to hook up my tmobile mytouch 4g using USB and it keeps giving me connection failed......not recognized. I know it's working because it will charge phone but that's it. What am I missing?

Does the cable do USB Storage with your PC? It might just be something as simple as a cable that doesn't have data lines, just power. Some MFRs are shipping phones with power-only cables. It's pretty slimy, if you ask me, but shrug.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
Works fine with PC. Daughter has same phone and hers actually worked in car at one point but then stopped. It seems like it has something to do with the phone settings, but I have tried everything I can think of and even called phone carrier.

If you haven't fixed it yet, make sure you have mass storage enabled immediately after you plug in the USB cable(on myt4g i think you pull down the message notification bar and click it). Also, make sure debugging mode is not on, usually under menu>settings>applications>development>debug mode

Check to see if the USB in the Genesis will play music from a USB jump drive like a cruzer.
