  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Used 2010 Genesis 4.6 Prices

I live in Texas, but just purchased (2 weeks ago) a demo 2010 4.6 w/Tech (MSRP $43900) for $34158 from Shawnee Mission Hyundai outside of Kansas City and drove it home to San Antonio. It has 2400 miles, but never titled. As of 2 weeks ago, they had 2 more identical 2010 4.6's: 1 "ice blue" demo, 1 silver brand new. Steve Genova was the salesman (816-591-4735) and we did the deal via email, phone and Fed Ex---great guy.

2 weeks ago, there was a 2009 v6 w/Tech package w 20k miles at Olathe hyundai outside of Kansas city. they were asking 26k for it. we were very tempted on picking it up only it was being sold the day that we decided to go get it.

You have to look closely at used 2010 V8 models. When I look at Autotrader, most that they had listed were non Tech package cars. It seems that most of that years production was non Tech. When I bought my 2010 I could not find a Tech pkg V8 in the entire southeast. Hyundai found my car on the boat coming to port and tagged it for me. The inclusion of the Tech package for 2011 as standard was a good opportunity for a hidden price increase since the profit for Hyundai is greater with more options and it put the floor price on the V8 up from $39000 to $43000.
