Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. I've always heard 3 months to custom order a car from overseas (e.g. Germany), or 6-8 weeks if it's assembled somewhere in North America. Why should Korea be much different?

I don't know how far in advance the Hyundai plant wants the orders to be placed in order to do advance planning of the parts needed from suppliers. Most German car manufacturers are set up for individual custom orders (including their German delivery programs), and Hyundai is obviously not (at least not for end customers in the US).
