Been here awhile...
Yes there are 2 of them, a left and a right hence the S in the title.
Pretty simple and staright forward to change out with 2 exceptions. You need to remove the cross bracing over each filter and you also need to remove a single plastic pushpin to be able to flex the protective cover in order to slip out the air filter cover once the 4 clips are undone to move it out of the way for access. These 2 steps are rather simple and straight forward.
I elected to purchase Wix brand filter as opposed to the Stealership. I bought 3 sets to keep me going for some time and lower shipping costs. Scoured the web and went with Discount Fleet Supply as they had the best pricing. http://www.discountfleetsupply.com
The Wix filter numbers are WA10070 and WA10237, just enter those into the search box on the site. Filters are $11.18 each. For three sets the shipping was $15.
I was actually shocked at the quality of these filters, IMHO the material used is superior to the stock filters. The frame is identical in every respect right down to the soft rubber seal, very high quality. I highly recommend these if you are into DIY. These filters come pre-oiled as opposed to dry and this is why the are yellowish in color. This is very beneficial in trapping smaller particles. Each filter is packed in an over designed sturdy box and in a sealed plastic bag because they are oiled.
Stock used filter on the left, Wix on the right.
