Variations between Genesis airbag Wing Emblem??

Hey guys. This is my first post but I've been following the forum for a while now. I apologize if my question has been discussed before. If it has, please provide the link.

I just ordered my wing emblem airbag from Koreanautoimports.com I've just noticed that there seems to be quite a few variations amongst emblems. Does anyone know why and which one is authentic? Below you will find 3 photos, all with slight variations to the emblem.

Photo 1) Shows a silver emblem with smoother wings than the other two. The wings are also not pointy.

Photo 2) Seems to be the most "authentic" as it looks like most badges that I've seen and matches the ones I have on my trunk and hood. It's chrome, pointy wings and has a silver "Genesis" lettering with a black background behind the "Genesis" lettering.

Photo 3) Is the airbag I've just received. Like photo 2, it's chrome with the pointy wings, also has silver "Genesis" lettering but doesn't have the black backing behind the lettering. Plus the "blue" center seems to be more of an "aqua" Did I get an authentic version or a knock off? Maybe Hyundai has changed their logo? Thoughts?

I've checked those sites. All the sites show the "smoother" wings like the one shown in your photo. What I mean by "smooth" is the wings are not distinctly cut giving it a smooth appearance. All the photos also show the center "genesis" part of the emblem with a blue background, silver lettering with a black strip behind the "genesis" lettering. Mine is all aqua? You can barely read the "genesis" lettering on mine. There is no contrast.

Looks like wing logo got updated on the steering wheel. Spent few minutes searching through Korean sites. There is also a pic on www.hyundai.com/kr site, not very good, but showing the wheel on 2012, and it does look like center shield is aquaish in color.

By the pics on Korean sites, your 'notched' wing is current, but can't validate on the color. I'll see if I can find better pics on Korean sites.

What year is your genny? I mean it doesnt really matter but like geoffc said, the one that looks exactly like the emblems on the exterior was out for the 2012-2013 genesis

Just look above the interior section where the sunroof picture is open, you can see the steering wheel.

Thanks for the info guys. Yes, I does appear that the wings got an update. Also, I found the thread where pic #2 came from. http://www.genesisowners.com/hyundai-genesis-forum/showthread.php?t=7397

After seeing his other pics, his emblem looks exactly like mine (aqua and washed out) in certain photos. I probably was a little too hasty in thinking it was a fake. I'm glad that I have the updated version of the wings. I have a 2009 Genesis 4.6

It should be mentioned that the airbag is not a USA part.
