I have approximately 2500 miles on 3.8 AWD, and also experience the mild vibration in the steering wheel and seat. I live in New York where there have only been 2 or 3 days above freezing since I've owned the vehicle. The intensity of the vibrations changes as I drive and seems to be effected by different road surfaces. When I originally test drove the car, the vibration was severe for several miles, and the salesmen blamed the vibration on snow in the rims.
For those who experience the same sensation, are you convinced it is a tire issue and not some other mechanical problem. Has anyone successfully eliminated the problem. I'm definitely frustrated by this issue.
