  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I always like the vinyl grill stripe option on some of the M series bimmers. In the same vein I wonder if a nice look could be found for the G80 Sport, not that it already differentiates itself from the crowd. So here are 4 votable options:

  1. Genesis-G80-Sport-1.webp Angled stripes
  2. Genesis-G80-Sport-2.webp Vertical stripes
  3. Genesis-G80-Sport-3.webp Chevron stripes
  4. Do nothing

Curious what others think. :grouphug:

to be honest it doesn't really grab your attention, in a good or bad way.

blue and red are the colors of BMW's M division. looks like a BMW M wanna be. Not good.

Yeah that's been the lingering thought in my head as I thought about this. The blue, red on the white w/black are meant as nod to S.Korean flag.

Voting so far confirming my choice to use Photoshop first rather than spend time/money on something not worth doing. 😋

The vertical are interesting enough, but I definitely thought of the M not the Korean flag when I saw them. Dangerous ground.

You know what. The G80 Sport is not a true sport car. It's just a family sedan with a decent luxury and speed. Anything above 5 seconds on 0-60 cannot call it a sport. It's just like Lexus GS call themselves an F-Sport but the engine is below the market.

I vote #4.

To me, the Genesis line is very much about “wanna be” (all the more expensive, luxury stuff but at a lower price) - but, through my personal experience with 2 of them (and several loaners) over the last 3+ years, I’ve come to believe that there are significant tradeoffs in design and quality that come with the lower price. As is said “there is no free lunch”.

Well then, I guess it's a good thing the G80 Sport can do 5 flat 0-60. There is no such thing as a 4 door sports car, Sport sedan ok, I can go there, no one drives a 4 door car at 10/10ths on public roads anyway, except 20 year olds and fools. All in my opinion of course, except the 0-60, that is a fact, recorded by CarandDriver.
