Absolutely. I warm mine about the time it takes me to buckle the seatbelt, then I keep the speed under 25 until I get to the intersection.I have 2009 Genesis V6. I live in the South, is it necessary to let the engine warm up before I drive?

There is always some residual oil after the engine is shut down and it takes just seconds to get pressure once running.
