Correction, click on the weapon r intake for 228.00 on carId.com then select the drop down for engine type..
You probably want to locate the MAF somewhere in the middle of the pipe. It benefits from smoothed out airflow over the sensor. If you place it too close to the filter there will be a lot of turbulence over MAF wires causing A/F discrepancies. My trailblazer SS would pop a lean code with the 4" intake tube because it would get more air than the ECU could account for. Only way around it was tuning which was no problem on that platform.
the stock system is a decent one, but its very restrictive. I'll be adding a short clip of engine sound w/ weapon R.. Its pretty beast.
