  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Has anyone felt a really weird vibration/buzzing in the gas pedal during cross winds?

For the last few days we've had a lot of wind here and it cuts straight across the highway. During this I feel a really pronounced vibration/buzzing sensation in the gas pedal. It's almost like someone blowing across the top of an empty bottle and the bottle vibrates. If there is no wind or the wind is head on or from the rear I don't feel a thing. It only happens during the cross winds

My thought is that the cross wind is blowing across something underneath the car and it's acting like that "empty bottle". I haven't checked to see if I can feel it in the brake pedal. I definitely don't feel it in the dash or steering wheel.

Any ideas?

Colorado. I live out on the plains so it's pretty flat.
