Took the Genny to my son's hockey game last night and found a rare parking place right in front of the rink lobby. As our game ended the crowd for the next game was entering and happened to walk past the Genny just as I approached the car.
It was magic.
The puddle lamps lit up. The mirror lamps lit up. The interior lamps came on. And I'm pretty sure everyone heard the "thunk" as the trunk unlocked.
The crowd of about a dozen people just stopped and stared and finally one guy asked "what kind of car is that" so I just had to open the two left-side doors and the "Genesis" lamps lit up on the thresholds. There were now close to a dozen heads crowding into the doorways oohing and aahing.
I never told 'em about the 8-speed tranny or the 429HP V-8. It would have killed 'em!
