  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
    If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Looks like a standard bikini wax to me.

Looks nice and clean. I may d-badge mine tomorrow, completely.

What's next for the driver, this:

Is it that you just don't like badges or did those badges bother you?

Looks much better, as do all cars that get debadged.
Should be mandatory.

After I did my re-badge on the trunk, my son suggested to me that I should go with the clean look. I told him I wasn't interested in that. Then, I saw the pics here, and may re-think ... :confused:

Tools required (or something similar):

I used spider wire braided fishing line but regular line will work.

Regular hair dryer

Turtle Wax Label & Sticker remover (or Goo B Gone);

Have someone hold the hair dryer onto the items you want to remove. Take the fishing line (wrap a couple of loops into each hand with about 12" between hands) and slide it under the edge of the item to be removed.

Now work it back in forth putting pressure on it as you pull it through. The item will come off as shown below leaving a layer of adhesive.

Peel off the upper layer of adhesive with your fingers then spray the remaining adhesive with the Label & Sticker remover shown above.

Wash off the area then put on a coat of wax and your good to go...

I really like that clean look dareckibmw

I wish my wife was that clean.

Added the Wing under the hood. The removal of the Flying H is simple. Place the fishing line around the H and pull. Comes right off.
