  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

What did you do with your DH Genesis today?

How does the ride now compare to the stock wheels? I keep asking this question but nobody with 20" wheels has yet to answer. I'm dying to know.....

I didn't really notice a difference, aside from driving more carefully to avoid curb rash. However, upgraded wheels should also mean upgraded tires. I put my 20s on Max Performance Summer tires and the steering wheel was tighter, car corners better, and takes off quicker. All of my cars are on 20s, not really any difference in comfort, might be a little noiser though.

Summer wheels back on, washed and ready for a photo-shoot later today. :alright:

Sorry, I've been traveling lately which is why I haven't responded.

Ride is firmer, for sure. However, it feels sportier because I feel more of the road. The combination of getting additional width and better high performance all-seasons means I can't hard accelerate from a stop and squeak the wheels anymore, but power seems to definitely hit the pavement more effectively now. Even in rain, no slippage on right turns at a red light and slamming on the gas pedal!

All-in-all, the car is so comfortable in the first place that putting something on that should bring a harsher ride is negligible. Yes, you feel bumps more now, but nothing is jarring at all. Best purchase decision for this vehicle IMHO.

First wash of the year yesterday evening. Never did a clay or wax yet, still waiting for the roads to clean up a bit before that, but looks and feels a lot better than it has. Finally spring again!

I guess this is what i did yesterday, noo wheelz, but still....

Love the look of the intake, any noticeable improvement in engine note under load? Thinking about doing it, wanna draw a bit of oomph out of the already decent sounding motor.

Cleaned the exhaust tips today, washed her and took some pics.

There is a noticeable diff, not night and day of course, just an intake, but the sound is amazing, I'd almost have bought it for that alone

Lowered my lic plate from center to bottom of grill...
Looks awesome .... thanks for all the helpful tips on this great and informative forum👌

Mild drop with ARK GT-F springs.
Also added xpel ultimate and gtechniq crystal serum to protect the paint.

Now the looong wait for my wheels

Set up an appointment for tinting next week, and also got the call that my brakes are in from the dealership (warranty rotors & pads: warped within 1 yr./20k km and ate up the pads), going to get those installed next week as well. :) I'll have to post a pic before and after tint, I think the next thing I need to do is either a slight drop like the above post, or start saving for a custom exhaust/intake setup.

Nice car man!

The cutouts are an interesting mod, never seen that done before. Seen people chop their exhaust back 1/2 way or just outside the motor bay, but never put a second exit 1/2 way up the vehicle. I just have to wonder how that affects flow and performance through the whole system, be interesting to see dynos of before & after.

its amazing.. you definitely can feel a difference when getting on it.. and the beauty is that i can switch back and forth while driving whenever i want to.. so i can scare the chit out of someone at a redlight and then go incognito as soon as i want too.. takes 2.5 seconds to open fully or close fully... and also what is cool, you can partially open them as much as you want for a less rumble. like i said, unbelievable.. best mod i have ever had..

I thought about getting these but I've heard they're not very durable, which may be why QTP only offers a 90 day warranty. Hopefully they have improved the quality.

Car looks good though, probably sounds just as good.
You have any sound clips?
