• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

What did you do with your DH Genesis today?

Was playing with low light photography with my lights on last night; My screen was dimmed on my camera and I didn't realize, so they came out with a little more bloom than I intended in some just because it didn't look like that on my screen. When I got home on a full brightness monitor I realized what I had done, hahaha. Did my first full detail of the year yesterday evening minus the final wax coat (thus the pics! :D). Gonna do that on the next nice day after a bit of spray detailer. Enjoy these couple (and any who are camera savvy let me know how I might improve the quality of night time photography! Hard to nail down just right) :

DeBadges rear deck flying H gone.....
Need something to cover holes.
Thanks for the tips... used 20 lb fishing line.
Did not use any heat...... she popped right off.
The sticky stuff was the hardest part to remove.
Used WD-40..... after finished removing sticky stuff used fine compound.
Then buffed up with wax.
May install wing later..... going to put black buttons in holes for now.

Hey guys. Finished the bumper conversion today. Posting a few pics now then off on vacation so I'll get more pics up once I get back and start the wrap and exhaust set up. For now enjoy these pics.

Dis is nassss. How much did it cost to convert to the Sport bumper?

I think it was mentioned earlier in the thread, somewhere in the ballpark of $2k ~ 2.5k

Too lazy to go back and look, lolol.

That stock ride height? Looks surprisingly good if it is!

i am lowered on ARK GT-F springs right now. on an AWD 3.8, they lowered it about .75" all around. i cant decide if i want to try the GT-S springs or not.... they are sitting in my garage... :)

Installed sub frame collars. The car feels slightly stiffer but that could be a placebo.

in park. sounds even louder, deeper and meaner when in gear! sorry for the bad camera work, as i was trying to hit the gas and video underneath at the same time! can't express how much i recommend getting these electronic cutouts for your V8's!!

Classy!

For the Caliper decals, I have them locally made.

TylerDH you installed both types of Ark springs? Which ones do you like more?

I was the test fitter for both of those springs back in the day. For me, the F springs were a little more stiff than the S springs. However, I liked the drop of the S springs more except the front was a little too low and the rear was a little too high. I've since moved on to Megan coilovers and love that I can adjust it to however I like.

yes, i ordered both sets from ARK since i didn't know for sure what route i was going to go with my Genesis hTrac. I started with the F springs with my 22" wheels because I knew the S would be too aggressive. after 3 tires in 3,000 miles, i decided to go back to 20" wheels. i thought the F springs were very good, near factory ride in my opinion. Which the 20" wheels on, i decided to try the S springs. i LOVE how it looks, the ride is a bit more "bouncy" than the F springs, but i am nit-picking at that. they ride great as well. my only issue with S springs on my hTrac is the camber is out of spec on all four corners and it cannot be adjusted apparently. I drive A LOT (30k miles + a year) and don't want to be replacing tires 3 times a year.... :(

on mine, the F lowered the car .75" all around, and a tidge over 1.5" on the S springs on all four corners.

if i can't figure out the camber issue, i will probably go back to the F springs, for the sake of tire replacement cost..

first pic is on F and second is on S:

Tyler, if you change I would buy the GT-Fs off you. I'm local and would have work done at Tanners as well.

The green calipers bring it all together, it would've been a bit plain/boring without them. It's not my cup of tee but it works and it looks nice.

Where did you get your spoiler?

Looks sharp! I'm thinking about doing my calipers in Blue on Parisian Grey, just not sure how it'll look. Might go black to keep everything low key, but I already have the blue paint from my last car that I never ended up getting around to doing, hahaha.
