If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

So far in my 2015 Genesis 3.8 AWD Ultimate....
1. Painted calipers red....will add Genesis in white letters tomorrow
2. Added Mobis LED foglights
3. Installed a switch for the fogs on the fuse access panel, left of steering wheel
4. Added a Bazooka powered subwoofer and tied it into the factory amp. Sounds fantastic and would be an easy upgrade with what I know now.
5. Replaced the yellow DRL's and turn signal 1157 lights with Sylvania LEDs. All white, all the time (not racist, just not switchback yellows)
6. Installed the AEM Cold Air Intake. Very satisfied with the improvement in sound, particularly from 2300 rpm to 3000 rpm. My butt-o-meter says the car is quicker but I'll probably never know for sure unless I race my wife in her 2015 Genesis 3.8 AWD Ultimate.

I'm running out of stuff to do. Any ideas? Want more power....
Hey Diamondmit,

I just got a 15" sub to add some real low-end base that's missing from the system. I've seen your other posts about it but still confused by all the other posts about how to tie into the original amp.

1. Did you "add" the bazooka or just "replace" the factor sub with the bazooka using the wiring?
2. I can't figure out how to do it without adding a Line Converter. I'm not trying to control it that much, just want to add what's missing from the factory Lexicon system.

How much experience do you have with installing audio equipment?

Thanks for the part numbers. I will buy some of the beefier rear sway links with the grease fittings. Your Genesis will handle very well after installing the additional bracing and sway bars I believe.

Note: You really should have gotten the V8. Just kidding. To be honest the V6 model is probably the better handling model due to the lighter front end, so if better handling is your goal than the V6 model is perfect.

Lol, the 2 extra cylinders would of been perfect right now that most of the streets here in the city of Chicago are deserted (I've been seeing more exotic cars on the streets then ever).
NP for the part numbers, these forums are all about sharing information.

As for the handling of my car, I have to say that it really feels and handles tighter with all the Ultra Racing bars, but not uncomfortable at all, still rides smooth, even over bumps. I think the biggest difference in handling came from the rear 20mm sway-bar with the polyurethane bushings, also the staggered size 20" wider wheels with beefier tires. I noticed that the G really NEEDS the staggered wheels like you guys have on the V8's & 3.3T's, they sure benefit the 3.8 V6! The car now feels much more planted to the ground.
I'm grateful to our member Darek for posting awesome photos of his 2 G's in the past and sharing his 20" staggered wheel sizes with the perfect offsets! Also, thank YOU for the part #'s and photos on your thread for the 2 underbody panels from the G80, for the DIY oil & filter changes. I already ordered ONLY the oil filter & drain plug "flapper/window" access pieces with relevant hardware, and will try to make it work by cutting out my original underbody panels.

Updated
Got my custom exhaust done last weekend.
Eliminated the 2 secondary cats and mid-muffler/resonators (No check engine light!).
Started by cutting off the 2 secondary cats from the original downpipes, welding two 2.25" V-band clamps between the downpipes and the new 2.25" S/S pipes, which are welded to the new center Magnaflow S/S X-muffler (#11385), then some custom elbows, and finishing off by welding the original clamps between the elbows and the oem pipes to muffler. Very happy with the results as the car now feels that it pulls harder at all rpms, particularly in mid to high. As for the sound, it sounds quite while cruising, with a humbled growling tone on moderate to harder acceleration.

I have just installed one fog light (waiting for the other one to arrive). I didn’t have to remove the bumper. I have loosen up the plastic that goes over the wheel so I can fit my hands behind the bumper:
3CE69334-20C2-4BF4-BCB2-0A2CAF224E39.webp
it saved a lot of time vs removing the whole bumper.
I installed them with 5 pin relay that is connected to parking lamp wire. Fog lights are triggered on only when parking light (and headlights) are on. I didn’t instal on/off switch becau I don’t like after market switches inside the cabin. Below are results:

And one more for those who want to know how much light one fog light produces:

Great photos as usual Darek!
That's my next upgrade to these rigid collars; got them on order.
So you only had to install the 6 out of the 8pcs, cause 2 were already there, and welded from the factory?..(Uniq's site states that "Not all 8pcs need to be installed on certain models"). Did you feel a difference after installing them? Do you also recall checking or having room to stick-in shims in the rear round bushings like they do for the coupes?

Iirc, they installed 6 out of 8. If they helped and I would notice any difference in car's handling? No, I did not.
If I were you, I'd save the money for something else.

Installed the G80 Sport aluminium accel/gas paddle and brake pad.
Found this 2-pc set on Amazon at a great price of $60 with free shipping.
I believe they are the Korean OEM counterparts, since part numbers match
the US OEM numbers, which will cost you $170 just for the accel/gas paddle alone,
if you ordered through HyundaiPartsDeal online.
The set is definitely OEM quality, very easy to install (10mm socket for 2 bolts, unplug & plug harness), there is a thin white vinyl protector on both pieces which you peel-off to expose the aluminum.

Looks like you found a dead pedal too?
Where did you find this?
Did you need to mod it to fit?
No! no dead peddle, just accel & brake (2-pcs). The 2nd photo is from the internet for sample.
Just press link to take you to Amazon!
NO mods needed!...just two 10mm bolts, unplug & plug harness to new paddle assembly. It comes as pictured on Amazon. For the brake paddle pad, you just take out your existing rubber pad and install the new one.

How do you like your new sway bars ?

How do you like your new sway bars ?
I only got the rear sway bar and some other suspension braces.
Personally I love the way this beast handles now.
Yesterday I re-torqued the front and rear subframe bolts to 130ft/lbs (3 of the front ones needed it) and car feels even tighter and tracks better on the highway. I have ordered the subframe rigid collars but might be sending them back, since just re-torquing the bolts made a difference for me. The car is at 42k miles now.
