  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

What did you do with your DH Genesis today?

I don’t think the intake helps with the throttle. What helps my car with the throttle response is my pedal commander. The intake is more for induction .
I am really tempted to get PC as the Throttle is really relaxed as I guess they wanted to make it more luxurious than sporty, I have to switch to manual shifting to get it to run like it can

Not from my Genesis but still relevant for those who are still on the fence about getting an oil catch can. This is from my '12 Sierra after 5k miles. Can installed same day on Genesis and truck

Yes on both
What's your wheel size ? Do you have coilovers or lowering springs ? Mine are 20x9 in the front and 20x10.5 in the rear. I love my wheels on my car but I want to lower it but don't know what route to take.

With those wheels doesnt seem like you would need to lower by much

Yeah I want to drop it about 1.5 or 2 inches. Just to get rid of the wheel gap

The purpose of this thread is simply to give an outlet for mild to wild hey-look-what-I-did-with-my-car-today, literally. Did you get the trunk mat? Want to show before and after, but don't want to start a whole thread about it? Show us here. Did you just detail the engine bay and you just want to share? Do it here. Trying a new tire shine and think you found the best? Post a pic! This is not intended to chill or otherwise discourage individual threads, it's always up to you, the community, post away. Additionally, this is not intended as a replacement for build threads, those are very personal, specific, and essential. This is more of a check-in, quickie-showoff kind of thing. Hopefully this works, I have seen this exact thread be a wonderful place to browse on other sites I've been on or am still with, I think it will be terrific here. If not, stickies are not written in stone, so no worries. :welcome:
Hello all. I have a couple of hairline scratches in the paint that I can fell with my fingernail. According to a couple of detail specialists, if the scratch can be felt with a fingernail, it's through the paint and needs to be touched up (cannot be buffed out). So with that in mind I found this on Amazon. Does anyone have a pro/con about this product or recommendations for a different product that would be better? Any input will be very much appreciated. thanks.

I've never heard of that before. If it's "hairline", then it can be cut and polished. It probably just scratched the clear coat. I've done amazing things with scratches that were much worse. I would recommend that you (or someone) do a light cut and polish using rubbing compound and then a polish. Then finish it off with a coat of Chemical Guys Black Light. It will make your ride look like glass.

Added 18" Eiken SVX wheels with 245/45/18R Michelin Pilot All Season 4s. I also fixed the actuator in my driverside mirror a week or two ago that disallowed my mirrors to tilt down.

Over the weekend, a very nice woman in Alpharetta, GA posted on the Genesis Owners Facebook group that she had 5 month old Weather Tech mats for a 2015 sedan that she was giving away for free. She didn't want to fool around with shipping them, so she politely declined the offers from those who offered to pay to have them shipped. Since I live about half an hour away, I checked on their availability. They WERE available, but not since this morning when I picked them up!

That is so nice.

I have carpeted floor mats from my previous 2015 Sedan for free if anyone wants to pick them up from West Chicago Suburbs.

Nice trade up!!!

How many miles did you have on your old g80 Sport before trading it?

Thanks! The car was perfect, with only 37,xxx miles on the clock, but I wanted the GV70 3.5tt since last summer. So, when "the one" showed up, I pulled the trigger. A 2023 GV70 3.5 AWD Prestige Mauna Red/Black.

Jealous! Congrats! :)
