  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

What did you pay for your Genesis G80?

I can't figure out how to pm people. Would you be able to pm me please?
If you click on the person's name, you will see the option to Start a Conversation. At least that's what I see on my phone.

Well, sort of. New members are restricted for a time to prevent spammers doing a hit and run. There is an algorithm that eventually allows messaging, not a set number of posts.

Ah, I see... thanks for clarifying.

Would anyone be able to post a circle A example for a 2019 g80 with awd and sport package please?

You can get a Sport in the 3.8 ($49.2) or 3.3t ($56.7) engine, so you may want to specify.

Good evening all. I'm Just joining and thought I'd chime in with my purchase. I bought a '18 3.3T with 7800 miles, Siberian Ice for 38.7K (Car price only). Only downside is it was a trade in at Jim Ellis Audi here in the Atlanta area , and looks like this makes me the 3rd owner of it. Now I am not sure if I should grab a extended warranty for this baby or not. Any thoughts?

Is it AWD or RWD? Either way that is a great price for low miles like that. My latest consumer reports shows the G80 to be one of the more reliable cars out there. I bought an AWD 2018 g80 sport with 18,800 miles on it for just a bit more than you paid back in October. It was red and had the two tone white/gray leather inserts that I was after. I bought it at a Jag dealer and was thinking about talking to a Genesis dealer about the possibility of getting it CPO'd (if that is even an option). But at this point I'm feeling pretty comfortable with just the remaining factory warranty.

Thanks G80Cougar for your reply to my post. Mine is a RWD. One of the things I love about the car/company is the Manufacturer warranty and would have been good if I was the first owner, but being the 3rd owner I am not even sure how much of the remaining warranty I am eligible for at this point. I know I am not eligible for the 10/100K Powertrain, but I am looking around now for confirmation that I am still good for the remaining of the 5/60K. Will give a call today and see what/how much warranty I am good for and then make a decision about extended warranty. Chances are I will probably grab one regardless. The Audi dealer offered me their Platinum Warranty which is 10/100K for $1500 so I am trying to research their warranty and will also call the Genesis Dealer and Hyundai dealer as well to see if they can offer me anything. Again, thank you for your reply.

No problem and let me know what you find out but i am pretty sure we're both still under the 5/60. We lost the 3 years of maintenance and the concierge service and the 3 year radio service but I think you could get that back if you can get a dealer to CPO it. I just don't know what it would cost to do or IF they would consider it. My closest Genesis dealer is 3 hours away so I'm banking on the 5/60 being in effect. That's what the local Hyundai and Kia dealers had told me when I was looking at used SUVs for a friend.

There is a black 3.8 sport in Farmington? MA. for $46K with AWD tan interior. Not sure how far that would be to travel but it sounded like a good price.

Here she is, final price $46,000 for the 3.8 AWD, w/sport package, muds/first aid/wheel locks. (include $500 Military Discount) 60 months 0% financing --No other incentives, just negotiating.

Nice way to ring in the new year congrats!

Jim Ellis IMHO is one the finest dealers in the /SE, $1500 is an excellent price, it is my understanding they all use the same after market warranty,
if it was me I would grab it in heart beat, after checking with Jim Ellis Genesis/Hyundai that they will honor that warranty (?Fidelity?).
For reference, I paid $2k for each, the 2015 & 2016 which where 22-3k miles last December.

I purchased my 2019 G80 Sport 3.3T AWD new for $53,800. Included trunk mat, wheel locks and rear bumper wrap which was removed with Xpel install. Out the door with taxes, title, tags and fees for $57,450. Also 60 months at 0%.

Thought I was shopping for g70 but have come to conclusion it is just too small. Hello G80...following this closely.

That's exactly what happened to me. I came into the dealer to buy, but it was just too cramped for me. Came back 4 days later and bought the G80. Very happy with the car - it's the base model but well equipped and thousands less $ than the sport model.

If I could do it all over again, I may have gone with a 2018 G80 Sport with 10-20k miles and paid just $3k more vs the new 2019 base.

Same situation. I really liked the look of the G70 but once I sat in it found it small and cramped. Also not a fan of the iPad screen planted on the dash. The dash materials and design seemed a little low budget to me as well. I am very happy with the G80 and for the $$$ - a good value.

Likewise. I had a Circle A certificate for a particular G70 I wanted. Went to close on it and had the same impression - too small. Changed the certificate and closed on a G80 3.3TT.
