  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

That's cool stuff. I work as a software developer, but the company is very small so I also get to play with networking. It's amazing how all the different pieces have to fit together.

Hello everyone,

I am a retired police officer with 33 1/2 years of service.

I was a military policeman with the Canadian Armed Forces for a few years and following my discharge, I joined the Ontario Provincial Police (Canada).

I have been retired since June 1994 and I have been enjoying my new lifestyle.

Take care,

I'm the BH part of the pixxiebh. Retired in 1994 after nearly 30 years in Gov't. service, in various law enforcement positions. Started as an original Air Security Officer in 1971, then Customs Patrol Officer, then Criminal Investigator (special Agent), and finally two positions as a SAC (special Agent-in-Charge). Plus I had 4 years of military service added to the total federal service. Worked 4 1/2 years undercover in mob related criminal activities.

I am a credit union examiner for the state of Indiana. Similar to an auditor, but my purpose is to evaluate safety and soundness of the state's credit unions.

I drive to all of the institutions within the state, so it is important to have a car you don't mind being in for long trips.
